Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 29, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Sumo Labs LLC (doing business as "Tinylawn") ("Tinylawn," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you:
- Visit our websites (including gettinylawn.com)
- Use our web application (including app.gettinylawn.com)
- Interact with Tinylawn-powered forms, phone calls, or text messages (the "Services")
If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the Services.
1) Key Definitions
- Customer: A business that signs up for Tinylawn (e.g., a lawn care company).
- End User: A person who contacts or is contacted by a Customer through Tinylawn (e.g., the Customer's leads/clients).
- Customer Content: Data Customers or End Users submit through the Services (e.g., call recordings, transcripts, messages, booking requests, addresses).
- Personal Information: Information that identifies or relates to an identifiable person (terminology varies by law).
2) Roles: Customer vs. Tinylawn
Tinylawn is primarily a service provider/processor for our Customers. When End Users call, text, or submit a booking request to a Customer using Tinylawn, we process that information on the Customer's behalf so the Customer can respond, schedule, and provide service.
If you are an End User and want to exercise rights about how a specific Customer uses your information, you should contact that Customer first.
3) Information We Collect
A. Information you provide directly
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Account info (Customers): name, email, phone, business name, login credentials or SSO identifiers
- Billing info (Customers): billing address and limited payment details (payments are typically handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)
- Support communications: emails, chats, or other support requests
B. Call, voicemail, and messaging data
Tinylawn may process:
- Call audio/recordings, voicemails
- Call metadata (time, duration, routing, caller ID, etc.)
- Transcripts and summaries generated from calls
- SMS/MMS messages and metadata
- Scheduling and lead details collected during a call or text (service requested, preferred date/time, etc.)
Call recording notice: Calls may be recorded and/or transcribed to provide the Services (e.g., quality, auditing, summaries, and Customer recordkeeping). Where required by law, Customers are responsible for providing any additional notices/consents to their End Users.
C. Property and location information
If a Customer uses features like "virtual site visits" / property enrichment, we may process:
- Property address
- Property attributes derived from public or third-party sources (e.g., lot size/acreage, parcel boundaries, imagery, estimates)
D. Information collected automatically (website/app usage)
We may collect:
- IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referrer URLs, timestamps
- Approximate location inferred from IP
- Cookies or similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)
4) How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including AI features like summaries, suggested replies, routing, spam detection)
- Create and maintain accounts and authenticate users
- Deliver Customer-requested communications (calls/texts) and notifications
- Provide support, troubleshoot, and monitor performance
- Bill Customers and prevent fraud/abuse
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms
5) How We Share Information
We may share information:
- With the Customer: If you are an End User interacting with a Customer's Tinylawn setup, your information is shared with that Customer so they can follow up.
- With service providers (sub-processors) that help us run the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, error monitoring, email delivery, telephony/SMS providers, payment processors, AI/ML providers used to generate transcripts/summaries).
- For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights/safety, investigate abuse, or during business transfers (merger/acquisition/asset sale).
We do not sell your Personal Information in the traditional sense.
6) AI Processing & Automated Decisions
Some features use automated processing (AI) to:
- Transcribe and summarize calls
- Classify requests/leads
- Suggest replies or next steps
- Extract structured fields (like address, service type, schedule preference)
Customers control how they use outputs. Tinylawn's AI features are designed to assist operations—not to make high-stakes decisions about individuals.
7) Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations.
- Account/profile data: retained while the Customer account is active
- Call recordings/transcripts/messages: retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period after termination, then deleted or de-identified unless legally required
- Basic logs/security records: retained for a limited period as needed for security and operational purposes
8) Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies/session storage/local storage to:
- Keep you logged in and secure the Services
- Remember preferences
- Understand usage and improve performance
Your choices: You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are in the EEA/UK, we process Personal Information under legal bases such as contract performance, legitimate interests, compliance with law, and consent (where required). Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries.
